I have questions about sex and sexuality and I don’t know who to talk to…

There’s such a stigma out there that you can’t ask questions about sex but know there are safe places to talk about it.

As teens, we’re starting to explore who we are and what we want. Most of the time that’s focused around school, hobbies, jobs- the usual. But we can’t forget about our physical and emotional needs either. Sex and sexuality can seem pretty complicated because it’s just as unique and different our personalities are. Not everyone may deal with the same concerns or issues because of their experiences or preferences, and that’s okay.

Sometimes, sex and sexuality can seem overwhelming because there’s so much information out there. The internet seems like the easiest and most anonymous way to research concerns or topics but it may not be accurate information.

There are so many things people can be wondering or dealing with when it comes to sex or sexuality- maybe things like how to contract STIs, what to do when their pregnant or if they think they may be addicted to pornography. I think that a lot of people in our society are struggling with issues like this, especially in this day and age. I want you to know that it’s okay to find out the answers to these questions.
