Powered By the Community
At ConnecTeen, we know we can achieve our mission to empower youth through the support of our community.
That’s why we’re always looking for new ways to get people involved and excited about contributing to our cause, whether by hosting golf tournaments, BBQs, or other sporting events to help raise money for our organization.
So if you’re looking for an opportunity to make a difference, a fundraising event with ConnecTeen is the perfect opportunity for you. With our guidance, your fundraiser can make a lasting impact on the youth of Calgary.
Get started today—together, we can make a difference!
How Fundraising Helps Us
Fundraising gives us the resources to serve more youths in need.
With each donation, we can make a meaningful difference in our community by providing youths with guidance and encouragement. The generosity of our supporters fuels us—your contributions help us reach those who need us.
Become a Third-Party Fundraiser
If you’re passionate about helping others, consider becoming a third-party fundraiser for ConnecTeen and Distress Centre Calgary. Hosting a fundraiser is a great way to support those in need and make a difference in your community.
Plan Your Event & Goal
Before you start planning your event, setting a specific and realistic goal is important.
You have to consider the event date, how much you want to raise, and what you can expect people to contribute during the event.
To maximize fundraising, create a list of prospective donors and invite those most likely to support the cause.
Propose Your Event
Propose your event by contacting email@example.com.
When proposing your event, make sure your fundraising materials clearly state the percentage of proceeds or portion of the ticket price that will be contributed to ConnecTeen/Distress Centre.
You must also use Distress Centre’s name and logo with our approval and without altering it. It’s important to understand that Distress Centre cannot provide volunteers or event support, and the organizer must protect ConnecTeen/Distress Centre from any claims or suits related to the promotion.
As the organizer, it’s your responsibility to cover all expenses and report media coverage of the initiative to ConnecTeen/Distress Centre.
Market Your Event
To promote your event, market it through social media platforms and your personal network.
Ensure you brand marketing materials consistently use ConnecTeen/Distress Centre’s logo and name correctly. You can cross-promote on third-party social media channels related to your event.
