Volunteering at ConnecTeen is an opportunity to develop essential life skills that can benefit you in all areas of your life.

What Training Will I Receive?
As a volunteer, you’ll receive comprehensive training that covers a wide range of essential topics necessary for your role.
This includes crisis management techniques to handle delicate situations, active listening skills to provide empathetic support, and ensuring confidentiality to maintain trust.
How Long Does Training Last?
Our training program is thoughtfully designed to prepare you for impactful conversations with youths in need. There are 10 training sessions available through 2 options: twice a week for 5 weeks and every day for 10 days.
Throughout the training period, you’ll work closely with our experienced team members, who will mentor you until you feel confident to answer the support line on your own.
When Do I Volunteer?
When it comes to scheduling your shifts, we strive to provide flexibility to meet your availability.
Shifts for youth volunteers are 5 hours and take place on weekdays from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and weekends from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
