Make a Difference
ConnecTeen is Calgary’s 24/7 youth mental health and crisis helpline, providing crisis intervention support through various communication channels, including calls, texts, and online chat.
ConnecTeen is a program of Distress Centre Calgary. Distress Centre provides 24-hour crisis support, professional counselling, youth peer support through ConnecTeen, and referrals and navigation support through 211 and Coordinated Entry. Alongside numerous volunteer opportunities, Distress Centre also offers full-time positions to help people in Calgary get the help they deserve.
Due to the limited scope of our organization, there are currently no paid positions for youths within the program. However, whether you’re volunteering or seeking a new career opportunity elsewhere, ConnecTeen offers an abundance of ways to support Calgary’s youths in their mental health journies.
Join us in making a difference, and check out our current openings today! Please note that most postings are for people 18 and older.
