Thank you for reaching out for help today! It’s understandable how you are thinking that everything is good at home, though still you are struggling with mental health and it’s okay to feel that way. Sometimes we feel a certain way, even though we logically know that our feelings don’t make a lot of sense. Lots of people experience this. Just because we have everything it does not mean that we do not have the right to feel upset or angry. We all deserve to express our feelings and emotions.
What you can do is reach out for help and that’s what you did, so great job, and I appreciate that you contacted us. Do you have someone who you talk to about what you are going through? One of the ways to combat guilt is to expose it by talking about it. Getting perspectives from other people may be helpful in getting over the guilt, especially when they are supportive of you. Maybe a counselor or therapist might be someone to try to connect with.
Asking for help and trying to get better is what you can do and it sounds like you are doing that. If you feel like you need someone to talk to you can text us at 587-333-2724 or call us at 403-264-8336. We’d love to hear from you.
