Waiting for an message, email or peer talk answer to come back from us can definitely be stressful, especially if you’re feeling down. All the volunteers here at ConnecTeen try our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
If you’re texting or messaging us online and you don’t hear from us in a few minutes, we’re not ignoring you, we’re just taking the time we need to create the best and most helpful response for you.
With emails or anonymous peer talk questions, our responses tend to be a little longer, which means that we have to take a little more time crafting our best response to you. If you just sent an email to us within the last 24 to 48 hours, or an anonymous question earlier than 3 to 5 business days ago, don’t worry! Your email or question has most likely been received and a volunteer here is coming up with their answers to send to you.
Above all else, you are the most important person to us when you decide to reach out. No matter what, your concerns are valuable and when you talk with us please know that we truly do care about you and we want our responses to reflect just that.
It may be possible that there are technical difficulties contacting us. Please email connecteen@distresscentre.com if you think this might be the issue. We encourage you to let us know the issue, what steps you’ve taken to reach out for support and then we can look into it. We’ve had technical issues in the past so we are continually working on improving our services. Your feedback is very helpful!
Please feel free to chat with us online at calgaryconnecteen.com or text us at (587) 333-2724. The peer support hours for these two options are available on our website. You can also call us at any time of the day at (403) 264-8336 if you ever need help.
